Qadhafi Death Paves Way For New Libya Era
Some die-hard militants may fight on, but the 20 October killing in Sirte of former dictator Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi should hasten an end to Libya’s eight-month civil war. Once fighting is declared over, Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) is expected to form a new interim government that will rule until elections can be held.
