Norway Reports Record Oil Output, No Plans to Help OPE
Norway reported record output of 2.19mn b/d of crude oil from its North Seafields in January, a 5% increase over December's output figure of 2.08mn. Inannouncing the figures on 10 February, the Oil and Energy Ministry said it hadno intention of reducing production in order to help OPEC, which is strugglingto support declining prices.
