Iran to Allow Foreigners to Take Majority Stakes in Local Enterprises
Iranian newspapers have reported that the country's Supreme Council forInvestment has decided to abolish regulations which prevented foreigners fromowning more than 49% of local business enterprises. The move opens the way forforeign investment in Iran's energy and heavy industries, and will make iteasier for Iran to access foreign technical expertise....
