Bapco Refinery Processed a Record 257,000 b/d in 1991
The 250,000 b/d refinery at Awali in Bahrain, which is managed and operatedby the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) - a joint venture owned 60% by theBahrain Government and 40% by Caltex - processed a record 93.8mn barrels ofcrude in 1991, or an average of 257,000 b/d (compared to 92.9mn barrels or anaverage of 254,520 b/d in the previous year), according to the company's 1991Annual Report.
