Qatar National Bank's Profits Rise by 24.1%
Qatar National Bank (QNB) experienced a healthy 24.1% rise in profits during1991 to QR270mn from QR217.6mn in 1990. The 1991 figure included a QR7mnwriteback from provisions. QNB directors have also proposed that shareholders bepaid a 30% cash dividend, the same as in 1990 and unusually high for the Gulf.Net interest income rose to QR336mn, an increase of 5.6% over QR318.3mn in1990....
