Elf's Syrian Production Averaged 7,500 b/d in 1991
Elf Aquitaine's crude oil production from the Dair al-Zur permit in northeastSyria amounted to 375,000 metric tons (about 7,500 b/d) in 1991, according tothe company's 1991 Annual Report. Elf's share of the output was 125,000 tons(about 2,500 b/d). Recent reports indicate that Elf's current production fromthe Dair al-Zur permit is averaging about 12,000-15,000 b/d and could rise to40,000 b/d in the near future...
