New Egyptian Budget Projects 15% Increase in Spending
The Egyptian budget for 1992/93, which began on 1 July 1992, projects a 15%increase in expenditure and a slightly smaller budget deficit than in 1991/92.The final budget figures were published in the Official Gazette dated 1 June.The total deficit represents 15% of expenditure, compared to 17% in 1991/92and 21% in 1990/91.
