Security Council Urges Demarcation of Offshore Section ofIraq-Kuwait Boundary
The UN Security Council on 26 August adopted resolution 773 (1992) whichurged the UN Iraq-Kuwait Boundary Demarcation Commission to demarcate theeastern (offshore) section of the boundary between the two countries as soon aspossible, thus completing its work. The resolution (see full text below) wasadopted by a vote of 14 in favor to none against, with one abstention (Ecuador)....
