Iran Awards $108mn Tabriz Contract to Samsung for Rubber/Latex Plant
Iran has awarded a contract worth $108mn to the Samsung Engineering Companyof South Korea for the construction of a synthetic rubber and latex plant at itsnew petrochemical complex at Tabriz. The plant will have a capacity of around35,000 tons/year - 20,000 t/y of styrene butadiene rubber and 15,000 t/y ofstyrene butadiene latex (MEES, 28 October 1991).
