Gulf Banks Grow Healthily but Grow Apart
Gulf banks are becoming stronger and more profitable, and the number ofailing institutions is sharply down on last year. MEES's annual survey of Gulfbanking shows that 33 institutions had a return on average equity of 10% or morein 1991, compared to 25 in 1990.
