Syria's Losses Due to Gulf Crisis are $4bn, Says Minister
Syria's Minister for Economy and Foreign Trade, Dr. Muhammad 'Imadi, saysthat his country has lost $4bn due to the Gulf crisis. In an interview with theAbu Dhabi-based newspaper Al-Ittihad, Dr. 'Imadi said that 100,000 Syrianworkers in Kuwait have had to return, depriving Syria of $360mn. He did not givea timescale for the loss of the $4bn or any detailed breakdown....
