UAE to Double Oil Supplies to Turkey
The UAE has agreed in principle to double its crude oil sales to Turkey to5mn tons in 1991 (100,000 b/d), according to Mr. Mehmet Kececiler, TurkishMinister of State in charge of oil, although an agreement to this effect is yetto be finalized. Turkey currently imports 50,000 b/d of crude from the UAE underan agreement signed after Iraq's invasion of Kuwait
