Saudi Arabia to Purchase Crotale Missiles
Saudi Arabia last week signed a FF3.4bn ($676mn) deal with the French state defense electronics group Thomson-CFS to purchase Crotale short-range surface-to-air missiles. The deal, covering six mobile missile batteries, will be handled by Sofresa, the French Defense Ministry export agency, and delivery is to be made "as soon as possible", according to a Thomson-CSF statement.
