The following is the text of an address delivered by Mr. Constantine S.Nicandros, President and CEO of Conoco Inc., at the Forum Club of Houston, Texason 27 November.
I was asked to put the most recent upheaval in the Middle East intoperspective as it relates to energy security in the United States. Whatconstitutes energy security? The matter is, of course, political. The ultimateis for all our energy to originate from this country....
