Jubail to Have New Soda Ash Plant
A new soda ash (sodium carbonate) plant with a capacity of 25,000 tons/yearis to be built in Jubail at a cost of SR908mn ($242mn) by the International Company for Chemical Industries and Trade, according to the company's Chairman, Mr. 'Abd Allah Muhammad Ridha. The plant, which is scheduled to come on streamby 1994, will be financed by a low-interest loan of SR400mn ($107mn) from theSaudi Industrial Development Fund...
