Compensation Settlements with US Firms
The American oil company Atlantic Richfield (Arco) was awarded a settlementof $9mn against Iran on 17 December by the Hague Tribunal for losses Arcoclaimed it suffered when its assets were seized during the 1979 IranianRevolution.
