Contichem Cancels Charters for Iraqi LPG
The New York-based Contichem has canceled three chartered vessels which wereto move a large part of Iraq's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exports, accordingto Lloyd's List of 24 January. Contichem, a subsidiary of the conglomerateContinental Grain Group, had chartered the vessels from the Oslo-based SigBergesen group a long time before Iraq's invasion of Kuwait.
