75% of Iraq's Refining Capacity Destroyed, Says British Commander
According to Lieutenant-General Peter De La Billiere, commander of Britishforces in the Middle East, around 75-80% of Iraq's oil refining capacity hasbeen destroyed by the allied air forces during the past two weeks. Thecommander, who made his statement on 28 January, did not provide any otherdetails.
