Jordan Seeks New Oil Supply Sources as Iraqi Oil Route Bombed
Jordan is currently negotiating with neighboring Syria the possibility ofimporting crude oil and petroleum products, as trucks carrying crude oil fromIraq came under heavy bombardment last week. The incident has further cloudedrelations between 'Amman and Washington. While rationing has been enforced inJordan, it is understood that there are enough supplies to last for around twomonths.
