OPEC Production Rises by 290,000 b/d in February
According to MEES estimates, OPEC crude oil production averaged 23.39mn b/din February, up by 290,000 b/d over the January figure of 23.1mn b/d. Thisincrease was attributable to a sharp rise of over 600,000 b/d in Iranian crudeproduction in February as compared with January, offset to some extent bywar-induced decreases in output from Iraq, Kuwait and the Neutral Zone.
