Abadan Refinery Expands Capacity to 255,000 b/d
It was announced on 1 April that a new distillation unit had begun operatingat the Abadan refinery. The new unit is part of Phase II of the refinery'srepair and restoration project which was scheduled for completion by the end of1990 at a cost of $60mn. Phase II is scheduled to add 125,000 b/d to therefinery's current 130,000 b/d capacity. (See MEES, 18 March).
