Kuwait Discontinues Distribution of Free Gasoline
The Kuwait Government discontinued the distribution of free gasoline formotorists and began charging 40 fils, or about 15 US cents, per liter at retailstations as of 10 April. The price is the same as that charged prior to theinvasion on 2 August. Motorists have been supplied with free gasoline since theliberation of Kuwait about six weeks ago.
