Personal Debts of KD1,936mn to Be Written Off in Kuwait
An Amiri decree in Kuwait has ordered that personal loans totaling KD1,396($4,830mn) should be written off by the country's banking system. Commenting onthe decree, the Governor of the Central Bank, Shaikh Salim 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Sabah,said that 180,000 citizens would benefit from the move.
