Bank Results
UBAF London Returns to Profit
London-based UBAF Bank has reported consolidated profits of 4.7mn for 1990.Trading profit on ordinary activities fell during the year, although the bankpoints out that profits before income on shareholders' funds and overdueinterest were up significantly. Comparison with 1989 is difficult in view of theheavy provisions made that year as part of a capital restructuring exercise(MEES, 18 June 1990)....
