Chiyoda Wins Contract for Sharq's Expansion Project
The Eastern Petrochemical Company (Sharq) on 5 May awarded Chiyoda ChemicalEngineering and Construction Company of Japan and its Saudi affiliate, ChiyodaPetrostar, the construction contract for Sharq's project to double ethyleneglycol production from the current design capacity of 330,000 tons/year (MEES,14 May 1990).
