Qatari Banks Maintain High Profitability Despite Gulf Crisis
Qatar's commercial banks, benefiting from conservatism and a little luck,have emerged largely unscathed from the effects of the Gulf crisis. All fivecommercial banks increased their customer deposits over 1990 and reported asset growth. All but Al Ahli Bank reported higher profits.
