Kuwait Resumes Crude Exports on Limited Scale
Kuwait is resuming crude oil exports on a limited scale, with the firsttanker - the 260,000 dwt Thorness - loading at Ahmadi's North Pier on 26-27 Julywith a cargo of 1.9mn barrels. MEES understands that the customer for this firstcargo is likely to be Shell International Trading (SITCO), though negotiationshave not yet been fully finalized. A second VLCC crude export cargo is due to beloaded around 5-7 August.
