Saudi Aramco Awards Saipem Pipeline Contracts
The Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) last month awarded Saipem ofItaly's ENI Group three contracts worth some $70mn for the construction ofwaterlines for the Hawiyah and Qurayat sea water injection projects. The contracts cover the laying of 340 kms. of pipelines to carry sea water from thetreatment plant at Qurayah, which lies on the Gulf coast west of Qatar, forinjection in wells to the southwest...
