Israels Mekorot To Build Desalination Plant In Cyprus
Israels state-owned water company Mekorot is to build and operate a new desalination plant in Cyprus, in partnership with local firm Logicom Ltd. The 50/50 venture, which is expected to cost approximately 50mn ($75mn), will be built close to the military base in Episkopi, and have a nominal capacity of 40,000 cmd. The Cypriot firms usual business is the distribution of IT equipment....
