OPEC Production Hits 23.5mn b/d in August
According to MEES estimates, OPEC crude production rose to 23.5mn b/d inAugust as against 23.3mn b/d in July. The 200,000 b/d increase was mainly due tohigher production in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Venezuela. Saudi wellhead production averaged 8.4mn b/d in August as compared with actual sales of around 8mnb/d.
