Saudi Aramco Discovers New Gasfield
The Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) on 15 October announced thediscovery of a substantial new gas reservoir at a depth of approximately 7,900ft. The discovery was initially made on 11 October while drilling Dillam WellNo. 1, a wildcat located 75 kms. southeast of Riyadh.
