SABIC And Sinopec Mark Progress On Tianjin Complex
The new petrochemical complex in Tianjin, built as part of a 50/50 joint venture between Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (Sinopec), will begin production in the first quarter of 2010. Approved in July 2008, the facility is expected to produce 3.2mn tons/year of various petrochemicals, including 1mn t/y of ethylene derivatives...
