Iranian Crude for Sri Lanka
Iran and Sri Lanka have signed a trade agreement under which Sri Lanka willbuy up to 30mn barrels of Iranian crude annually (some 82,000 b/d). As part ofthe deal, the two countries have also signed a fishery cooperation agreementwhich will permit Iranian trawlers to fish off the Sri Lankan coast.
