Foreign Banks Cut Algerian Exposure in H1 1989
Banks in countries within the reporting system of the Bank for InternationalSettlements (BIS) reduced their exposure to Algeria by $1.35bn - the equivalentof nearly 10% - during the first half of last year, according to figuresrecently published by the BIS.
