Hungary Imports 200,000 Tons of Iraqi Crude Oil
Hungary has purchased 200,000 metric tons of Iraqi crude oil, according tothe state-owned Mineral-impex, the Hungarian Foreign Trade Company for Oilsand Mining Products. The Kirkuk crude will be transported via the Adriaticpipeline from the Yugoslav port of Rijeka to the DKV refinery at Szazhalom-Batta,some 25 kms. south of Budapest.
In 1989 Hungary consumed a total of 8.12mn tons of crude oil, with 6.32mntons...
