Iraq Raises Official Prices
Iraq has raised the official posted prices on its crudes beginning 1 January,MEES learns. Kirkuk (ex-Ceyhan) was increased by $2.00/B to $19.60/B, whileBasrah Light was raised by $1.20/B, to $18.50/B for deliveries ex-al-Mu'ajjizand $18.72/B for deliveries ex-Ceyhan. The official prices are used for theinvoicing of crude deliveries effected for debt repayment and countertradepurposes.
