Oil Transfer at Khark 5 Completed
The transfer of 215,000 tons of crude oil from the damaged Iranian-owned284,632 dwt Khark 5 to the 290,283 dwt Iranian-flag Shir Kooh was completed lastweek some 250 miles west of Sierra Leone. An accident in the Khark 5 on 19December caused a spill of crude and threatened the Moroccan coastline, but mostof the oil was blown out to sea.
