South Korea's Dong Ah Signs GMR Phase Two Contract
Libya's Implementation Authority of the Great Man-Made River (GMR) signed on4 February a $3.6bn contract with South Korea's Dong Ah Construction Companycovering work on the first portion of the second phase of the GMR project. Thecontract for the second portion will be signed by the two parties later thisyear and is estimated to be worth around $1.7bn. The work is scheduled to take90 months to complete.
