Fertilizer Complex Planned for Northern Iran
Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC) has issued tenders for theconstruction of a new fertilizer complex in Khorasan province in the northernpart of the country. The project, estimated to cost around $250mn, will compriseunits for 247,500 tons/year of ammonia, 330,000 tons/year of urea, 89,000tons/year of sulfur-coated urea and 66,000 tons/year of agricultural gradesulfur.
