Saudi Investors Study Caustic Soda Plant for Jubail
A consortium consisting of the National Industrialization Company (NIC) ofSaudi Arabia, BCI Corporation of Bahrain and the local al-Zamil Group has set upa shareholding joint-venture - the Saudi Alkali Company - to study thepossibility of constructing a 50,000 ton/year caustic soda plant in Jubail. Theplant will cost an estimated SR75mn ($20mn) and will be owned 1/3 each by thethree partners....
