Bank of England Sees OPEC Surplus in 1989
Estimates published by the Bank of England in the February issue of itsQuarterly Bulletin indicate that OPEC's aggregate current account has recordeda surplus of $1.7bn during the first nine months of 1989, compared with adeficit of $16.2bn during the equivalent period of 1988.
