Lloyd's Certifies Safety of Iraqi Waterways
Lloyd's Register has issued a final certificate of clearance to the effectthat waterways leading to the main Iraqi port areas have been cleared ofnavigational hazards and are certified as safe , according to Lloyd's List of 8March. A one-year survey by the Iraqi Navy and the UK firm Global Technical andManagement Services has cleared debris regarded as hazardous to shipping,including wrecks of military vessels....
