EGPC Invites Bids for LPG Plant at al-'Amiriya
The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has invited bids by 2 May for the construction of a $100mn LPG plant at al-'Amiriya, west of Alexandria,with a capacity to process 300mn cu. ft./day of gas from the Western Desert. Thegas will come from Bapetco's Badr al-Din gas field (BED-2 and BED-3) and theEgyptian state-owned General Petroleum Company's Abu Sinan gas field (MEES, 12February).
