New OPEC Supply/Demand Forecasts Through 2000
The following is a summary of new energy supply/demand forecasts through tothe year 2000 contained in a lengthy paper submitted by the OPEC Secretariat tothe meeting of technical experts from OPEC and non-OPEC oil exporting countriesin Muscat, Oman, on 24-25 March. These forecasts are essentially an update ofthe projections made by the Secretariat in a long-term strategy report lastSeptember (MEES, 16 October 1989).
