During his visit to Japan earlier this month, Mr. Isam al-Chalabi, the IraqiOil Minister, told Japanese oil firms that Iraq will shortly be starting toexport Basrah Light crude from the Mina al-Bakr terminal in the northern ArabianGulf, MEES learns.
