Libya Plans Expansion of Downstream System to Handle 400,000-450,000 B/Dby 1991
Libya is planning to expand its downstream oil refining and marketing systemin Europe to handle 400,000-450,000 b/d by 1991, as compared with250,000-300,000 b/d at present. This was disclosed by Mr. Mohamed Abdul Jawad,Chairman of the Libyan holding company Oilinvest, in an interview in Tripoliwith MEES Executive Editor Walid Khadduri.
