Malaysia to Import Iranian Crude Oil
Malaysia has agreed to import 10,000-20,000 b/d of Iranian crude oil in 1990to balance trade between the two countries in accordance with an agreementsigned in Tehran on 24 May. For its part, Iran has agreed to import fromMalaysia palm oil, pharmaceuticals, electrical appliances, rubber and tin. Lastyear the two countries agreed to exchange goods worth $200mn.
