Japanese Crude Imports Projected to Rise to 4.03mn b/d by 1994
Japan's crude oil imports are projected to rise to 4.03mn b/d in the fiscalyear 1994, as compared with 3.65mn b/d in FY1989, according to the latestfive-year oil supply program prepared by the Ministry of International Trade andIndustry (MITI). At the same time, imports of non-bonded refined products areforecast to increase to 879,000 b/d in FY1994 from 855,000 b/d in FY1989.
