Kuwait Supports OPEC Summit
The convening of an OPEC summit conference in the fall has moved a stepforward with the announcement last week of Kuwait's readiness to support it.According to a Kuwait Government spokesman, the Kuwait Foreign Minister, ShaikhSabah al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah, has communicated his country's backing for theconference to the ambassadors of four OPEC countries - Venezuela, Algeria,Indonesia and Nigeria.
