Alba Loan Raised to $650mn, but Questions Still Remain
The commercial loan being raised for Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has beenincreased to $650mn from $560mn following oversubsription during generalsyndication (MEES, 18 June). The loan is scheduled to be signed on 17 July.Despite the success of the arranging banks in raising the value of the loan, itis far from clear whether the increase went smoothly, as would be expected...
